A Daughter’s Dream Against the Odds
In Barrod village, the idea of a girl pursuing higher education is often dismissed as unnecessary. After the passing of her father, Muskan Soni’s world changed overnight. Her mother became the family’s sole provider.
Muskan grew up hearing the whispers around her community: “Why educate girls? They’ll just get married.” But Muskan refused to let that be her story.
In 2020, Muskan discovered the PRIF Scholarship through the Youth Dreamers Foundation (YDF).
Today, Muskan is in her final year of a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and continues to inspire other girls in her village.
“YDF not only helped me to study but also helped me believe in myself. Now I want to make sure other girls know they can too.”
